Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc is keen on Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos.
Blanc is aware Senderos is available from the Gunners and sees the Switzerland international as a potential replacement for Souleymane Diawara.
Bordeaux are confident of doing business over Senderos for £5 million.
