Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd says Fulham striker Collins John is the ideal player for the Hornets.

He said: "In this day and age, sometimes money gets chased rather than medals. Fortunately in Collins when we can tie it up I think we've got a guy who's got a point to prove.

"That's really what Watford's all about and that's what I'm about. Hopefully we'll get that done and get a couple more in who've got a point to prove and we'll see where we go."
