England U21 interim boss Aidy Boothroyd believes Tammy Abraham and Marcus Rashford should not be placed in the same genre.

Chelsea's Abraham scored a double for the England U21s on Tuesday as his stock continues to rise following a brilliant start to his loan spell with Bristol City.

However, Boothroyd feels it would be careless to place the 19-year-old on the same level as talented Manchester United attacker Rashford due to the fact they are simply not the same type of player.

"They (Abraham and Marcus Rashford) are different," said Boothroyd.

"Marcus can play down the middle or on the left or the right, while Tammy is more of an out and out centre forward.

"He's somebody else that has been given a chance and he's shown what he's all about. Sometimes that is what it's all about."
