Ross McCormack has eased the fears of Leeds United fans by signing a new deal with the club.
The Scottish striker, who netted 18 Championship goals last season, had a year left on his contract and was being linked with a possible move away from Elland Road but has now decided to put pen to a new three-year deal which he is delighted about.
"This was always what I wanted to do," said McCormack.
"It's perfect timing with the first game of the season being on Saturday (against Wolves), and I was always hopeful we could get things sorted in time.
"It's my birthday as well on Saturday, hopefully we can get three points, and it's all perfect."
