Aston Villa have been placed as favourites to secure the services of Manchester United winger Ashley Young.

Young was used only sparingly by United boss Jose Mourinho last season and it is widely expected that the 31-year-old could now be exiting Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.

A move to the MLS or China had been seen as a real possibility for Young but according to Sky Bet, the attacker is posed to make a move back to his former club Aston Villa – with the Bookies placing the odds at 10/1.

Young made only 23 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United last term and a move back to Villa Park could be a welcome opportunity for the England international.
