The agent of Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci expects a new defensive signing to be made next month.

Juve are short of options with Lucio released and Giorgio Chiellini sidelined.

"Having sent Lucio away and given Chiellini's injury, Juventus will buy a defender next month," Davide Torchia told TMW.

"Chiellini's injury is disappointing and not only because of his ability, but because of the great cohesion within the Juve backline."
