Polish legend Zibi Boniek says Napoli winger Piotr Zielinski has greater ability than Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne.

The 23-year-old was praised by Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri this week, who said he “could become as good" as Manchester City star De Bruyne.

“In terms of quality, I think Zielinski is even superior to De Bruyne," former player Boniek told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.

“They are different players, clearly, but have the same impact on a squad. I am still waiting for him to fully bloom, because he has a lot more to show.

“I think Zielinski will become a genuine superstar."
