Daniele Bonera is ready to replace crocked AC Milan fullback Massimo Oddo.

Oddo is out for the season with a knee injury and Bonera said: "I am ready to replace an important player like Oddo.

"I have to give my full contribution to the team and help them secure fourth place."

Milan were humbled 2-1 by Atalanta at San Siro last weekend and were 2-0 down before they started to play.

"I think that in order to win games at home we need to start strongly and show our opponents that we have the advantage," Bonera said. "We need to take the lead and that hasn't happened often."
