Daniele Bonera insists AC Milan fans can be pleased with their 1-1 draw against Lecce yesterday.

Despite the result, defender Bonera claimed it was Milan's best performance of the season.

He said at the final whistle: "We played a good game, the best so far this season.

"We expressed great personality against a very defensive team. My compliments to (Mario) Beretta, who is a very clever coach."
