QPR coach Kevin Bond has played down their chances of signing Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.
Defoe is a top target for Rs boss Harry Redknapp.
But Bond told talkSPORT: I don't know where that has come from and nor does Harry [Redknapp].
"It found its way into the papers today but I've got no idea where that's come from."
