Tottenham No2 Kevin Bond has hailed the impact made by Rafael van der Vaart.
The Dutchman has been a revelation since signing from Real Madrid in August scoring 11 goals in his first six months in English football.
"He's such a good, intelligent footballer," Bond told talkSPORT. "You can see he's not the paciest, he's not the strongest and if you look at him from afar you might not think he would be ideally suited to England.
"But when you are as good a player as he is you adapt. He has scored our most important goals.
"He's fed off Peter Crouch fantastically well. He runs off the ball, makes intelligent runs and people can't pick him up. He just seems to be in the right place at the right time and he's been terrific for us."
