Gary Speed has denied claims he could succeed Sammy Lee as Bolton Wanderers manager.

The Trotters player-coach told the Sunday Mirror: "I'm a player as well as on the coaching staff. I've got plenty of time to be a manager or a coach. I'm just concentrating on playing."

Speed was dropped for yesterday's 1-0 defeat at home by Chelsea.
