Bolton's Nolan wants one over Everton supporting pals

Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan admits he wants to get one over his close friends today by beating Everton.

Nolan's mobile never stopped bleeping with gloating messages from his Everton-supporting friends when the Blues scored a late winner at the Reebok back in September.

They will all be at Goodison today to see if Everton can make it a double over Nolan and his Bolton teammates and the Wanderers skipper would love to turn the tables by scoring the winner.

"I got a bit of stick from the Bluenoses when they beat us 2-1 at the Reebok in the last minute so hopefully this time I can have a little go back, a little heckle back!" smiled the midfield star.

"You always get your mates texting you after games. Obviously I was a Red when I was younger so I get plenty of stick whenever Bolton lose to Everton. I'm hoping to be able to text them this time, reminding them to see my goal on Match of the Day. I should have had one against Birmingham, which was wrongly ruled offside, so I'm owed one."
