Bolton's Nolan: Man Utd players said it was no penalty

Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan has revealed Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo told ref Rob Styles he was wrong to hand him a penalty during Saturday's 2-0 win. "Ronaldo was on the floor saying, 'I didn't want a penalty,' " Nolan said. "I don't think one of their players put their hands up asking for a penalty.

"Darren Fletcher's going 'It's not a penalty,' Carlos Tevez is going 'It's not a penalty.' They couldn't believe their luck."

Nolan added: "He's [Styles] dug United out of a big hole here, given them a free chance and they took it."
