Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba has tweeted his thank-you to fans after recovering from his cardiac arrest.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who was unconscious for three days after collapsing on the pitch during his team's FA Cup quarter-final match against Tottenham last month, has stunned medical professionals with his recovery.

He also sent a good luck message to his team-mates, writing on Twitter: "Thank u so much 4 ur prayers,love and support. Good 2 be back on twitter. Hoping #BWFC pick up 3pts today, come on lads we can do this."
