Jussi Jaaskelainen's agent says he is in discussions with a number of clubs about a free transfer move for the Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper.
Whilst Bolton maintain they will look to talk to out of contract players once their Premier League status is secure, it appears that Jaaskelainen's 10-year stay at The Reebok Stadium is in real doubt.
He is free to talk to foreign clubs given he is out of contract in June and Peter Harrison, his agent, has confirmed 'Jussi' is in demand, both at home and abroad.
"We had one round of talks [with Bolton] at the beginning of the season and they withdrew the offer, which was very strange, and I have never heard from them since," Harrison told setantasports.com.
"I am obviously speaking with other clubs now and there are some top clubs interested in Jussi.
"There are some good English clubs and some foreign clubs. Jussi has got a good few years ahead of him.
"I am just very disappointed that the chairman [Phil Gartside] withdrew the offer after one round of talks and they have never made an attempt to get back to me.
"It's a shame, he has been there 10 years and has been a great servant, the chairman Mr Gartside has got his own reasons."
