Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies is confident the club can beat Atletico Madrid and reach the last 16 of the UEFA Cup.

Gary Megson's side beat Atletico 1-0 in the first leg at the Reebok Stadium last week and Davies has tipped the Trotters to finish the job in Spain.

The former Chesterfield, Southampton and Blackburn striker told Bolton's official website: "I think last week's win was our best result.

"We were delighted with the win but we know we've only done half a job. "It will be tough but with the team and squad we've got we know we can go through.

"It's obviously different over there but there's a lot of pressure for them to come and have a go at us."
