Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill is aware England boss Fabio Capello is keeping tabs on his progress.
Cahill, a £4.5million buy from Aston Villa, said: "The fact that Mr Capello is watching me does prove I was right to come here. Since I've been here I've been really happy.
"I knew Mr Capello was at the Liverpool game and it's nice to be linked with England. But first and foremost my concentration is on Bolton.
"I would put keeping Bolton up ahead of any England hopes. I'm fully focused."
