Bolton Wanderers have snapped up Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing.

The Mirror says Spearing has accepted the switch to the Championship side, who are also set to buy him if the move works out for all parties.

The 23-year-old midfielder was tempted by the chance to stay in the top-flight with QPR, but decided that Bolton would give him a better platform to showcase his qualities.
