Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips remains hopeful of a future at Etihad stadium.
Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic have shown an interest but Wright-Phillips wants to fight for his place and earn a new contract.
He told the Sunday Mirror: "It was hard for me last year when I was left out of the FA Cup Final team. I thought it might be the end, but I'm not one to give up.
"I would love to earn a new contract. I want to stay here beyond the end of this coming season.
'Since reporting back for training I have really got my head down and given 100 per cent," added Wright-Philips, who has scored against Club America and Vancouver Whitecaps during City's American tour.
"I haven't spoken to the manager. But it has gone well for me and I will never give up on City."
