Bolton Wanderers are keeping tabs on Cliftonville striker Liam Boyce.
Trotters boss Owen Coyle is having his scouts keep tabs on the youngster's progress in Northern Ireland.
"He's not a player I expect to have at Cliftonville for a long time," said Cliftonville manager Eddie Patterson.
"A few cross-channel clubs are having a look at him and I would be very surprised if he didn't make a move some time soon.
"To get that move, he needs to show what he can do on a regular basis and I'm happy to give him that chance. I've told him that I have faith in him, his team-mates have faith in him and so do the supporters.
"Sometimes, though, he looks a wee bit short of self-belief and that's something I'm trying to work on because a striker thrives on confidence and if we can get Liam going onto the pitch week in, week out believing in his own ability, then all the better for Cliftonville."
