Bolton Wanderers are closing on a deal for Portsmouth wing-back Matty Taylor.

The News of the World says Taylor is also a target for Aston Villa, Everton and Middlesbrough.

But Bolton and Sunderland are the only clubs to table a serious bid and the Trotters' £5million offer could clinch it.

The only stumbling block could be the player himself, who was hoping for a big-name club to come in.
