Burnley are eyeing Bolton Wanderers midfielder Gavin McCann.

The former Sunderland and Everton midfielder is off contract next month and manager Owen Coyle has been non-committal about offering new terms.

The Daily Mail says Burnley boss Brian Laws is already in talks with McCann, who is close to making the short switch to Turf Moor on a free transfer.
