Bolton unlikely to deal in Colorado Rapids midfielder Jeff Larentowicz

Bolton Wanderers aren't expected to offer terms to trialist Jeff Larentowicz.

The Colorado Rapids midfielder has just completed his tests at Bolton.

The Bolton News says it seems unlikely that Larentowicz will be offered a deal, but manager Owen Coyle is excited by the possibilities being opened up by his contact with US national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

"I have a good relationship with Jurgen," he said. "We spoke at length a few months back when he came in to check on Stuart Holden, just prior to the Aston Villa cup tie.

"What he felt was that when the season finished, if there was one or two that could come over and get a bit of experience about what it's like at a Premier League club, they could benefit from it.

"It's potentially a very good deal."
