Bolton boss Owen Coyle will hold contract talks with Gary Cahill when he returns from England international duty. The 25-year-old was being courted by the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham during the transfer window.
Cahill is currently out of contract at the Reebok next summer, meaning he could leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
"That (a new deal) is for when Gary comes back and the powers that be; I think the owner or the chairman will have a chat with his representatives," commented Coyle.
