Bolton Wanderers will go after Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha if Tottenham clinch the signing of Gary Cahill.
Reports coming out of Spurs' Chigwell Training ground suggest that a move for Cahill is currently a 50% chance but if it does go ahead, the Trotters will make a late play for Onuoha as his replacement.
The 24-year old impressed on loan at Sunderland last season and will step straight into Cahill's boots IF the England international heads to White Hart Lane.
