Bolton Wanderers are planning a sensational move for Real Madrid legend Guti.

The Mirror says Trotters boss Gary Megson is trying to persuade the Spanish giants to let their long-serving midfielder leave - and talk the 33-year-old into following in the footsteps of Ivan Campo and Fernando Hierro.

Guti is out of favour at the Bernabeu since a row with coach Manuel Pellegrini three months ago. He was suspended and told he could find a new club.
