Bolton Wanderers are chasing Jeju United midfielder Koo Ja-Cheol.

The Daily Mail says the 21-year-old South Korean midfielder and his club Jeju United held talks with Blackburn over a proposed trial for Koo earlier this month but due to the bad weather in the North West he was unable to come over to train.

However, Bolton have been alerted and following the success of Lee Chung Yong at the Reebok and Park Ji Sung at Manchester United, believe the player has potential to make the grade in the top flight.

He is highly regarded in Asia and has been subject of interest from Stuttgart and Young Boys of Berne.
