Bolton to swoop for departed Rangers prospect Gregg Wylde

Bolton Wanderers are being linked with released Rangers midfielder Gregg Wylde.

The Bolton News says Trotters boss Owen Coyle had a £400,000 bid rejected for the 20-year-old midfielder, who opted instead to sign a five-year contract with the SPL's fallen giants during the summer.

But it is understood the Wanderers boss remains a fan of the Dunbartonshire-born player and could yet decide to offer him a swift return South of the Border.
