Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies has laughed off talk of a move to Chelsea.

"It was a bit of a shock," he told the Bolton Evening News.

"The wife said to get the News of the World on a Sunday - so I thought, eh what's going on here? It was a bit of a relief to see the story at the back of the paper.

"January is a time for fun and games like that, but we'll forget about it now.

"House prices in Kensington are too expensive anyway."
