Bolton boss Dougie Freedman is still treading with caution regarding the return of Stuart Holden.
The American midfielder has featured just twice for the Trotters this season as he continues to get back to full fitness from a serious knee injury but he will not be rushed according to the clubs media liaison Jennie Kozlowski.
"The manager is treating him with kid gloves," Kozlowski told MLSsoccer.com. "He is still classified as being in his recovery phase."
Holden came on for the final 16 minutes of his sides 2-0 FA Cup win at Sunderland in mid-January and backed that up with a ten-minute cameo in the 2-1 loss to Everton later in the month but has yet to appear in the Championship this campaign.
