Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is stepping up his loan bid for Zenit St Petersburg striker Pavel Pogrebnyak.

Wanderers' goals have dried up and manager Megson believes the Russia international could boost his side's attack.

"This is a situation we need to address," said Megson, whose side were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United on Saturday.
