Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan admits he's upset missing Fabio Capello's first England squad.
Nolan struck in Bolton's 2-0 victory over Reading and said afterwards: "There have been a lot of squads that have passed me by since I have been at Bolton.
"I'm not surprised but I am a bit hurt and upset. I thought with a new England manager coming in I might have a shout but I refuse to let it get me down. I'll keep on doing what I do, scoring goals and working hard and if I keep that up maybe my chance will come.
"I know we have a lot of good players available, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Joe Cole. They are world class. It would take a brave man to leave them out."
