Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies refuses to give up on his England dream.

"You hear stories that Fabio Capello comes down to watch our games from time to time but I suppose it's the old one about Bolton being a bit unfashionable," Davies said in the Bolton News.

"Unless you are at one of the big clubs it is difficult to break in. But I think we have got a few players here, the likes of Gary Cahill and Matt Taylor who could do a job with England if they were given a chance.

"All we can do is just keep working hard and see where it gets us."
