Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies is taking his coaching badges.
The Wanderers skipper has taken the first step towards management by studying for his UEFA B Coaching Licence.
"I'm doing this because I love the sport and want to stay in the game," explained Davies. "And perhaps look to one day get a manager's role. Coaching is for some players, but it's obviously not for others.
"Now, I have started and had a taste of it, then it's something that I can see myself eventually getting into.
"At the minute, I'm still 100 percent focused on playing football for the next three years at least.
"I do feel that I am at the stage in my life where I can look beyond the time when I do decide to retire."
