Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies admits their performance in defeat at Liverpool wasn't good enough.
Davies reckons the squad will take collective blame - and admitted his own standards had slipped in the 10th successive league defeat against the Reds.
"You can only look at your own performance and I was disappointed with myself," he told the Bolton News. "So that's a long two weeks to stew over it.
"You have to try and put it behind you. I've been in this position enough times during my career.
"I just didn't reach any great levels with my own performance, so maybe I can use that to spur myself on against United in a couple of weeks.
"That kind of defeat hurts me, and hopefully it hurt every one of the lads.
"We need to make sure there is a response, and hopefully that will come against United in a couple of weeks."
