Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies is delighted his new responsibility hasn't affected his free-scoring form.

"Last season was bad for me, bad for everyone," he said. "I only get one or two chances and I have to put them away to get goals - at the moment, I'm taking them but I'm not doing anything especially different.

"I got a decent start and got my confidence up but since I got the captaincy the goals have kept coming."
