Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies has singled out the defenders he enjoys playing against.
At times he looks back on the days when he was booted all over the pitch by centre-halves, squaring up on the pitch and then swapping stories over a pint afterwards.
The Bolton striker added: "Bruises and scars are part and parcel of the game. When I was at Chesterfield both teams would always have a beer after a game, but these days you often can't even get a beer in the player's lounge.
"It's disappointing for that part of the game to have gone. I still have a bit of banter with the centre-half, but the game's changed. Nemanja Vidic is a big strong boy and I've had battles with him.
"I really enjoy playing against John Terry. He's caught me, I've caught him. There's not many about like him these days. He's like me, he just gets on with it."
