Bolton signing Ream tribute to New York Red Bulls fans

New Bolton Wanderers signing Tim Ream has paid tribute to New York Red Bulls fans.

Ream completed his move to Bolton this week.

“As I look back on my two years, I’m not happy with the second year,” Ream told nj.com. “I loved my time in New York. All the people in the organization, the players and coaching staff, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. The fans were always behind us 100 percent, and I’ll always remember that and it’s something I’ll miss.”

The defender also has the backing of USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

“I had one or two conversations with Jürgen. He was very behind the move and wanted it to be done, not only to help me but to help out the national team in long run,” Ream said. “Everybody involved knew that it was the best move and a good move for me to make to take the next step in that progression and become the best player I can.”
