Bolton Wanderers have taken defender Sebastien Puygrenier on loan until the end of the season from Zenit St Petersburg.
The deal for the 26-year-old Frenchman, who featured in the UEFA Super Cup victory against Manchester United in August, is subject to international clearance.
Puygrenier moved to the Russian club last summer after spells in his homeland with Stade Rennais and Nancy.
