Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton could get a move away this summer after his bust-up with manager Alan Shearer.

The Mirror says there could be interest from Bolton and Sheffield United, should the Blades be promoted.

Both clubs have shown interest in the player before, and may be prepared to give him one final chance... but only if the fee is less than £2m.

Barton's only other option is to find a foreign club prepared to risk his services, but he would have to take a massive pay cut to go to Spain or France, with Newcastle ultimately footing the bill.
