Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is stepping up his bid for Sheffield United defender Chris Morgan.
The 30-year-old was Sheffield United's captain last season and achieved notoriety for receiving a three-match ban for punching Arsenal's Robin van Persie in an off-the-ball incident.
Megson wants to toughen up Bolton's defence after shipping four goals at Liverpool and Manchester City.
