FC Seoul midfielder Lee Chung-yong is set to complete his move to English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers.

The 21-year old has been linked with the Trotters for a few weeks and it now seems almost certain he will end up at Reebok Stadium.

His Korean team FC Seoul said yesterday, "We decided to transfer Lee Chung-yong, who got an offer to join the Bolton Wanderers. We agreed on the transfer with Bolton in the interest of a broader framework and have to work out the details.

"We absolutely need Lee Chung-yong but made a difficult decision for the future development of Korean soccer."
