Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen is out for the season with a back injury.

The setback could force the Trotters into the market for an emergency signing as boss Gary Megson revealed: "He needs six weeks of rest to try and resolve his problem, and he is also going to need some form of surgery.

"Either way, his season is over."
