Bolton winger Ebi Smolarek has a clouded future at the club after an outburst against manager Gary Megson.
The Poland international has been out of favour at the Reebok Stadium and vented his frustrations after being left out of the Man Utd clash on the weekend.
"I am angry that I did not even come on for a minute," Smolarek told Polish site sport.pl.
"I do not completely understand Megson as a coach, I do not know why he did this with me.
"I had hoped to play against Arsenal (the week before), but illness prevented me from doing so.
"Now I was healthy, and the whole week I was with the team and training normally.
"I was convinced that with the problems the team are facing with injuries there would be a place for me.
"The worst thing is that the coach did not put me on, but 19-year-old (Tope) Obadeyi, a completely inexperienced player who previously played only two Premier League matches in his career."
