Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle was thrilled with the performance of new boy Stuart Holden in the 1-0 win over Wolves on the weekend.
The former Houston Dynamo midfielder was the best player on the pitch in his Premier League debut with David Beckham-like curling free-kicks and pinpoint crosses and his showing was praised by Coyle who bought him across from the US in late January.
"Considering the top, top players on the pitch - men like Beckham and Landon Donovan - he was outstanding and the man of the match," Coyle said.
"He's got that blond hair which catches the eye and is a great prospect."
Holden almost scored for the Trotters with a set-piece delivery that was knocked away by compatriot and Wolves goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann and with further performances like this, could prove to be a great purchase by Coyle.
