Bolton Wanderers winger Ricardo Gardner has been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
The 30-year old Jamaican had to withdraw from the Trotters squad that lost to Sunderland on the opening weekend and is now expected to miss up to three weeks with the injury.
Despite admitting his squad was stronger this season, Bolton boss Gary Megson revealed he would be looking around for some strike options in Gardner's absence.
"We have a stronger squad than last season in terms of numbers and quality but there are a lot stronger squads out there," said Megson.
"We will have a look around and see what (strikers) there are around and see if we can do better."
