Bolton's Coyle excited about 'best cup competition in world football'

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has rated the FA Cup as the best cup competition in world football.

The former Burnley boss leads his Trotters into the penultimate round of the famous cup with a semi-final clash against Stoke City at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

And Coyle can't think of a better place to stage such a fantastic tournament.

"For me it is the best arena in world football and with a packed stadium it will be second to none," he said.

"The players have to make sure they are not only there for the occasion but also to put their focus and concentration on the game. Anyone who gets the chance to grace Wembley, it's a magical experience."

And Coyle said it was a great chance for clubs as Bolton and Stoke, who may not be Premier League heavy-hitters, to take some silverware.

"The FA Cup is the best national cup competition in world football," he added.

"Now it has a freshness and energy about it. When the Cup comes about, it is an opportunity (for clubs like ours) to win the best Cup competition in world football."
