Crystal Palace have refused permission for Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers to speak to their manager Dougie Freedman. Bolton have been without a boss since Owen Coyle was sacked earlier this month.
Palace confirmed they had received a request from Bolton to speak to Freedman over their managerial vacancy.
But a club statement said: "Permission has not been granted for Dougie to speak to Bolton."
Freedman became Palace boss in January 2011, replacing George Burley.
