Bolton push to close loan deal for Man City defender Boyata

Bolton Wanderers are pushing to land Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata.

The People says Trotters boss Owen Coyle hopes to get the nod to take Boyata on loan for the season. The 20-year-old is highly rated at City, although he will not figure this season for them.

Boss Roberto Mancini has told Boyata he can go out for Premier League experience.

Coyle helped develop Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge at Bolton's 'finishing school' - a talent which has not gone unnoticed by Mancini.

Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion have also asked about Boyata's availability while Everton are lurking in the wings.
